Perhaps your readers would like to know that at http://morro-bay.com/ we have started a "Morro Bay Area Hiking Club." Anyone interested in joining or organizing a hike, can simply join our new Yahoo! Group "hikemorrobay" by going to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hikemorrobay or sending an email to hikemorrobay-subscribe@[remove]yahoogroups.com The first hike is: Valencia Peak Hike, Saturday, June 16, 2001 10 AM-Noon.
Everyone is invited to attend. No dogs are allowed on this trail.
Description: Hike Valencia Peak, a semi-strenuous hike to the top and back leaving from and returning to the Montaņa de Oro Visitor's Center. Meet in parking lot by visitor's center at 9:45 AM.
Moderate pace... all ages welcome. Bring water, snack. Just for fun, companionship, and exercise.
Participants are asked to send an e-mail to hikemorrobay-owner@[remove]yahoogroups.com to indicate that they plan to attend, but reservations are not necessary.
